Financial Futures: Financials 101

Need free, in-person, business development and money management advice? South Burlington Public Library has teamed up with the Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity Financial Futures program to bring you a series of three great classes! Meet three different finance and business experts and take the next steps on your road to financial and small business development!

Our kick-off session, Financials 101, covers the personal finance basics of budgeting and the responsible use of credit. Explore how to set up a budget that can bring your personal money management goals into focus. You will learn how to use credit responsibly to improve your overall financial situation, and important factors to keep in mind when seeking a loan from a bank or credit union. Do you have questions? Please bring them! There will be time for Q&A.
